Job Summary | Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

Working for a locally owned shop as opposed to a big retailer is always going to feel more personal. We pride ourselves on always hiring employees who are driven, hard working, quick learners, and great with people. These qualities are so important to this position as it focuses on store sales, growing customer relations and merchandising. Due to our store’s Financial District location, our hours of operation are a bit “untraditional”, being it a M-F position only!

We would like candidates that are able to commit to 20-30 hours per week beginning in early February 2017. Position reports directly to ownership.

SALES GENERATION

-Must be able to meet & exceed sales goals
-Maintain and get to know existing customer base while helping grow this list of repeat clientele.

-Be able to multi-task - i.e provide an excellent customer experience, while maintaining clean store environment and smooth/quick checkout process.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

-Support our merchandise presentation strategy and upkeep -Provide nightly feedback on product & sales performance STORE OPERATIONS
-Execute all opening & closing store duties

-Insure store appearance and cleanliness standards at all times

-Provide nightly feedback on store supply levels or maintenance requirements

EXPERIENCE

-1-2 year retail sale experience

-Detail oriented and organized

-Punctual and strong work ethic
